Design & Product Development

We have two brands of our own, _NIM and SAYA. Two very different styles and audiences. This is why we are very aware of fashion forecasts, trends and innovations in design, fabrics, processes and other relevant aspects of our industry. We have a highly trained team able to not only fully understand each client’s design requirements but also give valuable feedback to produce high quality prototypes and sales samples, from basics to more progressive styles. We consider the pre-production process KEY for achieving excellency in bulk production.

Fabric Allocation

Thanks to our vast experience in the industry, we are able to work with all types of fabrics. We have the know-how to allocate the right fabric with the right design in order for it to fulfill each client’s expectations. We also work with manufacturers that are specialized in each type of fabric and/or garments so finishes are impeccable.

We offer top quality fibers in both knits and woven, such as Peruvian pima cotton and blends such as pima modal, flame modal, flame modal and spandex, mercerized pima cotton, 100% pima poplin, among others. All these qualities can be digital printed in any design. We also offer, 100% alpaca and blends, such as alpaca nylon and merino wool.

We also work with imported fabrics if the client requires we do.

We understand how important sustainability is in our industry and feel total responsibility to contribute to reducing the industry’s impact in our environment. That’s why also offer organic pima cotton woven and also knits in different weights and qualities. We also believe that a great way to better our waste production is to reuse residue, so we also offer recycled denim fabric. Denim is a very resourceful production process in terms of water and energy, so this fabric takes old denim garments and residues and weaves a brand-new fabric that does not need extra industrial washing for garments.

Planning & Logistics

Having more than 25 years of experience in retail, we understand that delivery time is crucial. It is the final piece of the puzzle to ensure success with any production.

We work with professionals in planning and logistics, in order to ensure maximum efficiency in fabric & trimming consumption and most importantly time. In order to ensure the highest quality, we have a thorough audit process. We do 3 audits within the whole production process. Before, to ensure all the resources are available and ready to fulfill each order and also to ensure the manufacturers fully understands what is required. During, to guarantee the guidelines and specifications are being followed. After, to certify the bulk production meets the Sincrotex quality standards and also the client’s standards.
We have each process of our supply chain clearly mapped out so we can achieve excellency every step of the way. For example, here is our full process for product development.

Our
Clients

Social & Environment responsibility

We know our industry is responsible for a large amount of pollution in our environment and we strongly believe it is every agent in the industry’s responsibility to try to reverse so of the damage already made. We approach sustainability in the “Planet, People and Profit model”.

Planet: We consider that a great way to reverse the damage is by managing the waste generated within each production process. At Sincrotex, we reuse left over fabrics from each production cut and rework them into new and innovative garments for our own brands here in Perú.

Moreover, we work with specific laundries and process factories for our processes that are certified with Ecocert. This certificate asures that each company has: Ecological production processes, Respect and improvement of working conditions, Promotion of the use of egolocial fibers and Prohibition of dangerous inputs such as toxic heavy metals, aromatic solvents, etc.

We are also in the process of acquiring our WRAP certificate.

We offer many different types of organic knits and wovens. Organic means that harmful pesticides have not been used when growing this cotton and instead they have applied techniques such as crop rotation, intercropping, weeding among other healthier approaches.

We also produce a lot of denim in Sincrotex and know the amount of resources needed to not only weave the fabric but also process it one the garment is manufactured. That is why we offer recycled denim fabric. The process of this fabric starts collecting scratches, leftovers and old denim pieces, and using them as the raw materials to weave this new denim fabric. This fabric does not need industrial washes and it is ready to be made into a piece of clothing. This fabric uses 95% less resources than regular denim fabric.
Moreover, as an alternative to traditional washing processes of denim pieces. We offer laser print techniques. This is a great way to create unique denim pieces without the need of washing the garments. This is a much efficient process in terms of energy and water consumption.

People: Our focus right now is in empowering women in the wide and competitive Peruvian textile industry. Being a single mother in Perú is very common and it is very difficult for women to be professionally successful whilst taking care of their children alone, that is why at Sincrotex we give them the opportunity to work from their homes at their own workshops. We employ (in-house) 20 women which is the 67% of our whole work-force, and more than 60 with outsourcing and have 0% of gender pay gap. Sincrotex is a women-owned company, so it is our main goal to eradicate gender inequality in all stages of our process.

We work with various artisan communities for specific crafts. We developed a series of knitwear for our own brand with Peruvian designer Sitka Semsch, that were manufactured by the women in a community called Corani. The business relationship with these communities is an enriching experience for both parts. We learn from their magnificent techniques and add value to each garment, and they grow economically & professionally, and their art gets to be seen by many people around the world.

We work with different manufacture factories and workshops of all sizes around Lima, Perú. We have key partners of each type of fabric and we take great pride in seeing the communities grow and develop around them. We have been working with them and supporting them financially and with our guidance as well in terms of innovation, machinery and quality standards. We have grown hand in hand with them overall these years and by giving them constant workflow, they have been able to grow with order and security.

Profit: We are constantly innovating and redesigning our processes to offer new and sustainable solutions for our clients. We believe on a win-win approach to sustainability. The more sustainable we are, the more we more environmentally conscience clients we will attract, so this creates a snowball effect in our industry.
